Amongst the uncertain and hard times Usk Brass Band continue to promote festive cheer around the local community
During the last two Christmas's of uncertainty and lockdown measures, Usk Brass Band have been spreading Christmas cheer in the local community.
Overwhelming feedback
During the lockdowns Usk Band have remained active in outdoor events, supporting the local communities where possible. UBB recently completed a successful second year of 'Doorstep Carolling' around the town spreading music festive cheer.
The band have received overwhelming feedback and support from the local community and passing audiences.
Principal cornet Callum commented:
'Supporting our local community is intrinsic to what we do as an organisation. We very much look forward to the Christmas Festivities every year, including the mulled wine!'
Usk Band are always looking to find ways to fundraise to keep the ensemble going. We look forward to finding more ways to support ourselves in the future to ensure the longevity of the organisation.
