Brass and Voices - Volume II

Following a very successful joint concert between Usk Brass Band and Sŵn Y Gân Choir in June 2024 at Our Lady of The Angels Hall in Cwmbran, it was Usk's turn to host the second of hopefully many volumes of Brass and Voices.

Brass and Voices Volume II was held on 1st March 2025 in Usk Memorial Hall, a sell-out success! A repertoire of 24 varied pieces were performed between the band and the choir, and were all met with rousing applause. It must be mentioned that Rowena and Gareth had the busiest evening, performing every piece with both ensembles! Well done both!

Thank you to Jamie Jones, conductor of Usk Brass Band, and to Geraint Davies, conductor of Sŵn Y Gân Choir, for putting together another fantastic joint concert. Thank you also to the audience on the night who made it such a successful event.
